SNAPin, Developer of On-Phone Fixes, Secures First VC Round
December 6, 2004 -- SNAPin Software Inc., whose cellphone-based technology would let customer support services be an embedded, interactive part of a phone, also launched with funding, although it isn't disclosing how much. It is hoping to sell its technology to a mobile network operator and get it up and running on the network in the next six to eight months, with the intention of having a customer win before raising a second round. SNAPin's products are designed to reduce a mobile operator's expenses for customer support.
