Sr. Java Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications and libraries in support of making SNAPin’s client software available on various Windows Mobile or Windows CE powered mobile devices.
• Work with cross functional team members to ensure that software specifications are complete, and take into account any technical limitations or efficiency concerns.
• Participate in OEM partner consulting, system analysis, and system design architecture.
• Ability to lead self and/or small project team.
• Work with QA to ensure high-quality finished results.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business partners and other members of the team.

Position Requirements

Education

• BSCS/CE/EE or equivalent
• MSCS or MSEE or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years software development experience in a team environment

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• JAVA J2ME skills, and familiarity with COM, MFC
• Mid-P/CLDC experience required
• Microsoft Windows Mobile and/or Windows CE experience
• Well versed in TCP/IP, with experience in their application in a wireless environment strongly preferred
