Sales Support Executive

SNAPin Software develops self service software for mobile devices. We provide operators with software that is embedded on the handset enabling them to connect and interact with their customer in a relevant, timely way - based on how they use their device. Using our product suite mobile operators can deliver a branded self-service experience to their subscribers that can generate revenue and dramatically reduce the cost of providing customer care, all whilst supporting a vastly-improved customer experience.

We are headquartered in Bellevue, WA, USA and have a fast-growing office in Richmond, London, UK. This opening is based in our Richmond office, and is for an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Executive to support our EMEA sales team.

This role would ideally suit someone with high potential to become a successful sales professional. You must have the skills and personality to develop rapidly into someone capable of successful selling to major organisations at all levels. SNAPin strongly believes in promotion within, and this role has become available due to the expansion of the Sales team. The intention is that this wide-ranging role will provide a springboard for climbing the promotions ladder within the Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General sales admin to include account updates, telephone support including answering phones while Account Managers are unavailable and taking messages.
  • Help prepare responses to customer tenders.
  • Attending urgent incoming e-mails and calls when sales people are out of the office.
  • To own and update client records in Salesforce (our CRM system).
  • Handling correspondence and organising contact between the account managers and their customers, and supporting internal reporting processes.
  • Keeping records of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for management.
  • Taking personal ownership of individual customer projects or activities as required.

Required knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

You will provide the highest levels of existing and new business development support to all sales teams within the SNAPin EMEA region. Responsibilities will involve working proactively with RFP and presentations, marketing, sales and to best communicate the benefits of their product propositions. The ideal candidate will have had experience in a previous junior sales role within the technology sector.

Position Requirements:

  • 3 years of junior sales and/or account management.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge in IT tools and general administrative processes.
  • Customer-oriented mentality.
  • Proven experience with high aptitudes and knowledge for telephone use & processes, e-mail, web, and any other tools useful in an office environment.
  • Proven experience working with high value customers.
  • Fluent in English both written and speaking.
  • Teamwork motivated for high performance.
  • Very high client and sales orientation.
  • Competent at using MS Office applications to intermediate level.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills also a must!
  • Equally as important to your success will be your great organisation skills, your ability to work in a team and on your own, and your willingness to work in this fast paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel.

Education, Training and/or Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration is preferred, but not essential
  • Competence in other languages, in particular European languages.
  • Some knowledge in the communications sector and mobile industry.
