SNAPin Software, the leader in self service software for mobile phones is looking for a Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team and work with our leading edge technology. We strive to provide superior solutions for our customers while maintaining our nimble response.
We value an all for one respectful team creating an open, flexible and supportive work environment that stimulates success. We have passion for everything we do, and take pride in the integrity of our organization. If this sounds like the kind of company that you want to work for then we are interested in you.
SNAPin Software develops self service software for mobile devices. We provide operators with software that is embedded on the handset enabling them to connect and interact with their customer in a relevant, timely way - based on how they use their device. Using our product suite mobile operators can deliver a branded self-service experience to their subscribers that can generate revenue and dramatically reduce the cost of providing customer care, all whilst supporting a vastly-improved customer experience.
We are headquartered in Bellevue, WA, USA and have a fast-growing office in Richmond, London, UK. This opening is based in our Richmond office, and is for a Reporting Analyst.
SNAPin deploys its products into mobile operator networks and onto customers’ handsets, and in their operation these products generate large quantities of often complex data. This includes detailed handset-generated data about software and handset usage, and diverse server-generated data about interaction with other operator back-end systems.
Consistent and effective gathering and interpretation of this information is crucial to SNAPin’s business success. In commercial deployments we may be assessed against KPIs that are derived from such data, and in trial and pilot environments we invariably need to prove a strong business case.
The main function of the Reporting Analyst role is to apply specialized skills and tools to analysis of data in trials, pilots and commercial deployments, and in doing so bring accuracy, rigor, consistency and focus to this area of work.
You will initially work with our engineering and product teams to understand our current data capture and analysis tools and processes from beginning to end. After reviewing the reporting processes in place with our current customers you will then perform an assessment of areas for improvement, either in accuracy or efficiency of existing reporting, or by identifying areas for capturing new data or generating new insights that will support SNAPin’s business and that of our customers.
On an ongoing basis you will be involved in trial and pilot planning across all our new customers and from the outset of those projects. You will ensure that the objectives of such projects are well understood, and that the data capture, analysis and reporting process will support our goals. Ideally this will solidify into a standard, repeatable approach that will be used consistently.
You will also be involved in new and existing commercial deployments, understanding any performance metrics against which SNAPin is being measured and ensuring these are adequately supported. You will bring expertise and credibility in discussing with our customers the most effective way to support their reporting needs.
Effectively performing this role requires you to have a strong insight into business operations, management and reporting. More than just an excellent number cruncher, you need to understand the business needs that drive reporting requirements and ensure we’re asking ourselves the right questions to support those needs. Given the nature of our product this will probably mean that you have an understanding of the software development lifecycle, and particular experience with use case analysis.
SNAPin is an equal opportunity employer.
