Development Lead - US

SNAPin Software is seeking a Development Lead to work in the US office. This position will mainly be responsible for supporting sales activities, by organizing and developing demo software packages and collecting and prioritizing sales requirements. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Work with sales, delivery and other groups within engineering to define the scope and schedule of customer projects.
• Assist in entire hiring process, from interviewing to assisting in training new employees.
• Manage architecture of the project and ensure compatibility with other systems.
• Create technical documentation for test team and technical customer-facing documentation as necessary.
• Develop milestones and provide progress reports on these milestones to others involved in the project.
• Manage small team (4-5 members) that will be split across two different offices. (Bellevue, WA, USA and Richmond, London, UK)
• Provide leadership and technical guidance and training to team members.

Position Requirements:

• Has a passion for development and technology
• At least 4 years development experience, with experience in some of the following technologies: Java, C++, XML/XSLT, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Linux.
• Good sense of software design and architecture.
• Strong computer science background. Degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
• Strong verbal and written cross-team communication skills.
• Great organization and time management skills. Possesses common sense and deploys it frequently.
• Able to solve problems creatively and stay calm under pressure.
• Experience with web-based applications or mobile devices a plus, but not required.
• Position will require some travel.
