Deployment Manager
The Deployment Manager will lead the implementation of SNAPin’s software for mobile operators worldwide, providing project leadership to a cross-functional customer-focused deployment team. The Deployment Manager will ensure customer requirements and success metrics are achieved by establishing and driving project milestones, coordinate cross-functional activities and, ultimately own the successful release and implementation of SNAPin’s products within the operator’s environment. The Deployment manager works closely with the customer’s project team and mobilizes an internal SNAPin deployment team to carry out all of the delivery activities.
Essentail Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to assume a hands-on leadership of projects through all phases, from analysis to implementation, to meet project goals.
- Excellent and proven project management skills evidenced by an impressive portfolio of well written project plans, SOW’s, Gantt charts, requirements, kick-off presentations, status reports, team communications etc.
- Can easily follow a minimal project framework and produce project artifacts.
- Understands how to successfully manage projects using a combination of project discipline and “softer skills”.
- Manage progress to plan, coordinate activities with customer project team, and work with customer through acceptance of the project’s deliverables.
- Able to manage multiple assigned tasks and prioritize work efforts in order to accomplish most critical tasks first and meet deadlines. Independently evaluate company needs in order to understand critical path items.
- Understand timelines and appropriately identify the need for escalation./li>
- Must have experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (or related process).
- Proven ability to work in fast paced, self directed environment developing and delivering project and product-based documentation.
- Able to be self-motivated and work independently and effectively in an unstructured environment, while contributing to a positive team environment.
- Experience with change management and production acceptance processes.
Education & Experience
- 4+ years experience in a project or program management role delivering commercial software products via the full software development life cycle.
- 2+ years experience with enterprise software; telecom and or mobile operator market experience a significant plus.
- BS in EE or CS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
